Major Job Responsibilities
As a senior level Product Manager, you will manage the Trade Services portfolio under the Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) Product Management team in Singapore. You will be responsible for portfolio revenues and setting strategies for growing the business through sales distribution, new product development and revenue campaigns. You will work closely with sales teams, relationship managers, service teams, operations and middle office as well as regional product managers in executing your business strategies.
Other responsibilities include supporting sales managers in crafting solutions for clients and meet with clients, organize roundtables and events to understand market needs and originate new ideas. You will be responsible for expense management for Trade Services products and maintaining good controls for the business. As the resident subject matter expert on UCP/ICC and market practices, you will be responsible for operational risk management of trade products and services.
Specifications / Qualifications
Pre-requites
You should possess minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in the field of trade finance and services, preferably with an MBA or equivalent. Strong in-depth knowledge of trade concepts, regulations and practices; and an understanding of bank operations is essential. You should also have business acumen and financial planning skills; as well as strong interpersonal, oral/written communication skills. Other pre-requisites required include passion and curiosity about the business, industry and market; a sense of pragmatism and urgency in execution of strategies; as well as an innate leadership ability to galvanise resources across units to drive initiatives.
