You will be responsible to process, assess liability and Fire &
General Insurance claims in accordance with given guidelines ensuring
fair and prompt settlement of property ans casualty claims.
Liaise with policyholders, intermediaries, investigators, surveyors,
adjusters, investigators, lawyers, 3rd party claimants, sister
companies etc.
Train and guide assistants in their support role.
Manage and process claims expeditiously, professionally and equitably
within agreed service benchmarks or applicable protocols.
Ensure reserves are provided or updated in a timely and realistic manner.
Add value to underwriters by advising underwriters on issues
discovered during claims handling such as issues due to gap in policy
wording and on risk improvement.
Visit clients’ offices as and when required.
Periodic review of files, as and when required.
Ensure recovery claims are pursued and followed up periodically.
Any other duty or assignment as and when instructed by the superior.
Requirements:
Revelant ACII/AAII qualifications with at least 2 years of experience
with solid knowledge in Insurance principles and claims.
Good communication, interpersonal skills, excellent team and
supervisory layer, tactful, customer focus and willing to learn new
skills.
Able to work under pressure.
