Job Responsibilities
-Follows credit guidelines to assign and manage risk classes and customer limits
-Review and maintain watch list of highest risk customers
-Perform credit checks for new customers
-Make credit recommendations based on set parameters
-Monitor existing customer credit as directed
-Respond to credit inquiries from the business
-Recommends bad debt reserves for specific accounts in legal action
-Prepare data and reports for function management to review
-Follow procedures to improve efficiencies, cost reduction initiatives, and accomplish internal policies
-Monitor the credit function, identifying, resolving, or escalating issues
-Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the credit function, ensuring that improvements are incorporated in the work routine
-Ensure compliance with JCI credit policies, procedures and processes
-Support the timely reporting of key financial information, monitor the performance and quality of the activities performed based on agreed Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) and Service Level Agreements (“SLAs”)
Job Requirements
-Diploma/Degree in finance or accounting required
-3 years experience working in accounting, specifically credit
-Knowledge, insight, and experience in financial administrative accounting processes
-Ability to work independently with good analytical and problem solving skills around accounting analytics and processes
-Ability to handle high volume account portfolio in an organized manner while staying focused on priorities and remaining professional
-Demonstrated organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, analytical, change management and communication skills
-MS-Office, iScala, SAP , Oracle, & Hyperion Financial Management experience
