Job Description:
-This is a client support role based in our Singapore office. This role as Business consultant will help our Banking clients to implement the Monetary Authority Singapore regulatory reporting project.
-KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze, specify, develop and maintain reporting requirements of the banking regulatory bodies for the Monetary Authority Singapore (MAS).
Liaise with our Bank clients’ Financial Accountants to discuss their business needs and translate these into the product requirements. Working closely with our clients to achieve the appropriate solutions to meet their specific needs.
Conducting end-user training.
Independently handle client contacts and maintain good client relationships
Requirements:
-Education:
Accounting/ Finance/ IT graduates. MUST have proven knowledge and experience in Accounting and very experience use of Excel. Candidate with strong Finance + Accounting background plus some IT knowledge or experience will be highly appreciated.
-Experience:
Several years working experience in the finance & accounting area or financial services sector related to IT/accounting.
Banking experience in the accounting or compliance department or have handled MAS reporting will be highly appreciated.
Self-starter and a team worker with the ability to work independently
Able to adopt a structured approach to projects and the ability to set priorities
Other Knowledge specification:
Knowledge of regulatory reporting with Monetary Authority Singapore (MAS) would be a definite advantage as well as thorough expertise in Banking Instruments
Back-office banking systems, accounting systems and procedures especially in reporting, interfacing to these systems and data extraction
Good knowledge in Computer, familiarity of the PC in a windows environment and productivity tools like MS-Office Products
Good understanding of databases, storing data, general approach to data retrieval
