Job Description:
1)Claims Executives
-Provide accurate and timely information to all external and internal stakeholders to address claim status and other inquiries such as questions on fraud, subrogation recovery, reserve adequacy , and underwriting risks.
-Provide the highest level of customer care, responsiveness , and satisfaction when managing assigned claims to produce the best claim outcomes.
-Conduct and coordinate loss investigations on all assigned claims to provide accurate fact for disposition , potentially on-site.
-Review reserves on all assigned claim files and recommend changes where necessary to ensure actuarial accuracy.
2)Underwriters
-Analyzes accounts to make decisions based on individual risk characteristics, exposure analysis, hazard recognition and controls.
-Utilizes underwriting guidelines and Company best practices to ensure compliance with state regulations.
-Prices business according to Company underwriting and pricing guidelines and ensures department standards are met.
-Ability to use creativity and underwriting knowledge to write risks and retain business.
-Markets Company products and services through producers.
-Develops ongoing relationships with producers to discuss market appetite, quality and profitability of submissions, service standards, and underwriting and/or product changes.
-Communicates with assigned producers on underwriting issues including, but not limited to, decisions on cancellations, declinations, exposure concerns, and survey results.
Requirements:
-Minimum Diploma holder
-At least 1 year experience in Claims or Underwriting in the arena of marine/motor/commercial/life insurance
-Analytical, meticulous and numerate
-Self-motivated, customer centric
-Great team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
