Job Description:
-Perform research, develop, implement and review Group Actuarial policies including product pricing, embedded value calculation, reinsurance and other actuarial areas
-Perform financial review of monthly new business embedded value report and annual in force embedded value report produced by local actuarial operations.
-Perform experience reviews for local operations, including mortality, morbidity, expenses and lapses
-Ensure alignment between pricing and embedded value assumptions and actual experience.
-Perform product pricing review of new products to be launched by local operations.
-Conduct Annual review of all ‘on the shelf’ products and highlighting to Group Management approved products with financial deviations from agreed thresholds.
-Develop and maintain product pricing spreadsheets to be used by local actuarial operations.
-Perform review and approval of reinsurance treaties for emerging markets.
Co-ordinate Group level reinsurance covers where necessary and appropriate, as well as any Group level reinsurance projects.
-Perform monthly product monitoring
-Highlighting to Board products with new risks, having high guarantees or pricing deviation.
Requirements:
-Good numerical undergraduate degree.
-Good progress in professional actuarial examinations
-At least 3 years of experience in actuarial work, preferably in a pricing or ALS role
-Only Singaporean or Singapore PR
