Job Description:
-Salary: $80k-$120k p.a.

-Responsible for Compliance and Risk matters:
-Compliance:
Anti-money laundering, anti-terrorist financing; KYC
Insider and personal trading, conflicts of interest
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, statutory and internal requirements, and local and international best practice (including professional standards, code of conduct, etc)
Handle all legal and compliance matters.
-Risk management :
Evaluate and manage risks associated with the Singapore Branch and HK entity
Control adherence to internal policies and procedures
Any new development or changes in procedures needs to be performed in co-operation with the Internal Control Unit in HO in line with the overall group policy and risk management framework
Participate actively in drawing up operational strategies within the overall group policy and risk management framework and assist departments to manage operational risks; suggest improvements to existing workflows.
Requirements:
-Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
-Degree preferably in Banking & Finance, Accounting or equivalent, with at least 5 to 8 years’ relevant compliance working experience within financial services or equivalent
-Experience in AML and Controls, QI compliance, Statutory compliance, Personal transactions, Quarterly regulatory updates and others such as follow up on resolution of internal and external audit points, control, evaluate and monitor dept operations in terms of legal implications.
-Independently monitor and assess the risk situation – maintain and execute Risk management programme : PB risk, Operational Risk, Credit Risk – Client, Credit risk – Counterparties and Market risk.
-Well-versed with MAS and SGX rules and regulations
-Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
