Job Description:
Contribute to the actuarial reporting and planning process. This includes preparing analysis schedules in excel, performing basic analysis and coordinating further commentary from Asia Pacific Regional Office actuaries or business units
Provides support to direct manager responsible for financial management for APAC
To build technical, business and market knowledge of specific AP BU assigned to work on
To build technical expertise based on international developments in financial management
To conduct consolidation of business units’ financial reporting submission including Powerpoint slides, Excel Spreadsheet
Ensure work conforms with the Financial Reporting Control Framework
Ad hoc financial projects as required
Requirements:
Degree in actuarial science, statistics mathematics, or finance or with a very significant mathematical content
Association with one of the recognised Actuarial bodies and progressing through international actuarial examinations
1 year working experience or fresh graduate are welcome
Experience of financel/ actuarial functions
Hands on experience of the Excel/ PowerPoint, Knowledge of PROPHET modeling system (or equivalent)
Excellent technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage own time effectively and flexibly
