Responsibilities:
Scope:
Setup & management of customer payment card hardware components realization and customer EMV projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides technical Payment card hardware components support and consultancy to Sales and customers on the realisation of products from the existing Payment hardware portfolio.
Managing new product requests such as special card body materials, special printing effects, new chip packages, contactless cards, dual-interface cards, different form factors and shapes thru proper card hardware system requirements specification.
Highlights gaps between project-specific customer requirements and existing product portfolio, and coordinate closely with external R&D card plastics manufacturing team to develop new hardware and release for customer testing and quality acceptance on time and within allocated/approved budget.
Supports card hardware planning cycle by providing relevant regional market information to HQ.
Co-ordinate internal project resources, schedule, milestone planning and scope of work for customer Visa and MasterCard EMV chip projects.
Timely status reporting, communication, tracking of change requests and escalation
Supporting inputs for application configurations, personalisation requirements, key management and test card processes.
Requirements:
Engineering degree, preferably in applied materials and RF antenna technology.
Experience in plastics card hardware manufacturing and contactless cards
Excellent communicator in front of Customers and to other Product Managers from different manufacturing sites.
