Marketing Director
Company: Hong Leong Asia Ltd
Responsibilities:
To assist in the HLA’s Annual and Strategic plan.
Analyze opportunities in current and new markets for HLA
Articulate the mission and plans to internal and external stakeholders
To assist in the rolling strategic planning exercise and annual budget:
Work with the senior management of HLA to establish their overall objectives and priorities in line with the corporate direction of HLA
Analyze and evaluate synergies between the Company and the other Strategic Business Units under Hong Leong Asia.
To lead the Corporate Marketing team. The SBU marketing teams have a dotted line reporting relation to him/her
Address implications and critical issues in the marketing and communication areas at HLA and SBU levels
To work closely with the SBU marketing team to ensure the effective execution of the marketing plans and initiatives
To oversee the Corporate Marcom functions
Responsible for developing and implementing the HLA marketing and communications strategies which includes media strategies to deliver information and key messages to the public and intended audience
Keep tabs on Social Media reactions and issues regarding HLA and the SBUs
To participate in the Mergers & Acquisitions activities of HLA
Evaluate the target opportunity space and conduct valuation analysis
Perform relevant due diligence to ensure potential M&A targets are suitable fits and has synergistic values to company’s growth plan
Requirements:
Degree in business, economics, marketing or related discipline
Minimum 10 years of marketing, strategy development and communications experience, with 5 years in management level
Strong knowledge in strategic planning, communications planning, brand and corporate marketing and media relations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Creative and possess good negotiation skills
