Responsibilities:
Development, establishment and reviewing of claims & security policies and implementation in Express business.
Provide claims advice and proposal to the country management team.
Train and develop all Line and Function staff, raising claims awareness for the business.
Ensure and lead claims team for its programme, implementation and enforcement of legislation requirements.
To direct and organise investigation effort. Ensuring escalation according to business needs.
To assist in the development and reviewing of claims & claims costs recovery issues.
To support the Global Account Management and Commercial department, in their business development effort.
To serve as the country liaising body for Asia Region Security office with DHO and IBU WSR.
To constantly evaluate the claims and insurance process, ensuring compliance by the business.
To constantly evaluate Insurance Products and Services to ensure adaptation of Best Practice in the industry for the business.
Ensure claims implementation and cost are maintained at an acceptable level.
Actively and constantly communicate the financial benefits of effective claims & security practices
Build strong relationships and creditability within the business
Encourage security awareness within the workplace
Encourage/ensure business compliance with security and claims policies & procedures
Actively participate in the performance management process
Manages relationships with staff, peers, management and customers in a manner that seeks and encourages involvement recognising and valuing contributions.
Requirements:
Security Operations experience (freight, transport and logistics) at country level.
Leadership of a team and ability to manage security projects process driven.
A good understanding of security environments, as well as legislation initiatives.
Experience in a multinational company.
A good understanding of country security and insurance environment and legislation initiatives.
Claims and security Operations experience (freight, transport and logistics)
Basic knowledge of the Transport industry
