Responsibilities:
We invite interested candidates with good leadership qualities, communications skills and market knowledge to apply for the above position, reporting to the Function Head, Market Control & Data Management. This position will provide opportunities for the candidate to contribute to the development of derivatives market control and related initiatives.
Key activities:
Supervise and lead the team that performs day-to-day functions on the electronic derivatives trading platform to operate a fair, orderly and transparent marketplace.
Manage and review processes to ensure effective and efficient operations and service standards
Operationalise derivatives market and product policies
Support market participants with regards to their order/trade queries and management
Engage and collaborate with Business and Technical colleagues to support implementation of new market and product initiatives
Lead and assist in related responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
Degree holder with at least 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably with derivatives market knowledge
Ability to lead a team via effective organisation, communication and execution skills with attention to details.
Ability to manage market/operations exigencies and problem resolution decisively
Strong interpersonal skills to handle customers/members’ interactions
Ability to handle system configuations and enhancements from an end-user perspective.
Excellent team player who takes initiative in handling work responsibilities within and across teams
Previous trading experience is advantageous
